We currently have an opportunity for a Repro Machine Operator at our Manufacturing Plant in Lewiston, ID.

NIGHT SHIFT HOURS
(12 Hour Shift)

The Repro Machine Operator operates the reprocessing line to achieve established production rates while maintaining safe, clean, and efficient operations. Supports scrap management, material flow, inventory levels, and process continuity by working closely with manufacturing teams, haulers, and resin specialists. Contributes to standardized work, product safety, and quality requirements while maintaining the skills and physical capability required to perform essential functions and provide operational backfill support. Works effectively with temporary and full-time team members and adjusts work schedules as needed to support changing scrap levels and production requirements.

Operations

• Operate the Reprocessing line at established lbs per hour.
• Restore process flow when it is interrupted.
• Ability to make screen changes, clean die and screw.
• Willing to adjust work schedule for fluctuating scrap levels.
• Maintain skills to effectively backfill assigned positions in the facility.
• Assist the area to develop/maintain standardized work.

Material Management

• Work closely with haulers and manufacturing to supply gaylords for scrap storage.
• Determine scrap and RPP types and store in appropriate locations.
• Work closely with resin specialist to maintain proper RPP inventory levels.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Use of safe operating procedures for equipment.
• Actively participate in all safety programs and follow safety protocols.
• Responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with the authority to take action.

Teamwork

• Work with team members consisting of both temporary and full time employees.
• Responsible for maintaining personal conditioning to physically perform essential job functions.

Education/Experience

     Required

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift License
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Physical exam required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Capable of performing duties
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic understanding of plant operations, product types, and identification labels.
• Computer literacy includes the following:

• ability to use email and Microsoft Office programs
• ability to learn computer programs
• knowledge of SAP and Ignition
• other computer skills

• Self-motivation/personal initiative.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend.
